Hi Ms Janie. I'm sure you'll have
heaps of reports from Hamleys - but here is mine anyway. I got
there at 6:00am, to find that some dedicated souls had queued
overnight! We waited in queue until just about 9am when the doors
opened early. A very enthusiastic man from Hamley's was stamping
our hands and handing out raffle tickets. We discovered that this
was because there were only 10 signed bears and these were being
drawn by raffle!!! We were allowed to buy 3 Hamley and 2 William...
And then had to wait until the first 100 people had been served
(this was how many tickets were handed out). The free gift promised
on the invitation turned out to be Prinz von Gold!
My ticket wasn't drawn, and it was disappointing not to get a
signed Beanie, but it was really great to meet loads of other
collectors - I enjoyed talking to you all!
