It's finally happened. Ty news is hotter than ever. It's
all I can do to keep up with the latest and greatest breaking
events.
Ty Warner and the Ty Company have listened to your concerns
and are changing their ways. The Ty Company wants to ensure that
Beanie collectors remain true. I personally believe that, for
the first time, Ty really appreciates this Beanie madness.
Here is a sample of what's been going on behind the scenes:
It's been reported that the current Iggy's and Rainbow's which
have hit the market are wrong. The material has been reversed
on these animals. Ty will be making the change over. If you have
been lucky enough to purchase these pieces, hang on to them, they
should become valuable.
All of Ty's products have become very collectable. Pillow
Pals and Attic's are extremely popular. Ty even retires these
items. The Attic collection has a different tag style. Ty will
soon change these tags to look like the Beanie Baby tags.
Ty has issued a Restraining order against K-Mart. K-Mart was
promoting a diamond pendent along with a Beanie Baby. This is
a NO NO! Service Merchandise is doing something similar.
Ty hired a promo company to launch it's Beanie Baby Club.
Ty Warner has invested l0 Million dollars into this Club.
Beanies hit Germany. In the next 2 to 3 weeks Beanie Babies
will hit Germany. There goes the long distance telephone bill......
THEY'RE BACK!! All reports indicate that Ty and McDonalds
will be launching a new Teenie Beanie campaign. Clean out those
freezers, here come the Happy Meals.
Princess - I have received reports that Princess is showing
up with the old face and new face style. I have also been told
that the old face style is a manufacturing mistake.
Retailers are reporting that Ty is canceling accounts. This
is a touchy issue. Many retailers have sold Ty products for several
years and are upset with these cancellations. In my opinion, Ty
is trying to stay true to their original word. Beanie Babies will
be sold to small card & gift shops.
I have received many reports about shipping out of Canada.
It's been reported that Ty and customs will confiscate Beanies
shipped across the border. This issue is not quite clear as of
yet. Who is manufacturing fake Beanies or who is selling to K-Mart?
Many retailers claim they are able to ship from Canada, while
others claim they can't ship because of customs. It's my opinion
that Ty is trying to locate one or the other.
Ty has had problems with deciding who is Pounce and who is
