1. Princess was released in November. How do you feel about Ty
still limiting her to 12 per retailer? How do you think this policy
will affect your chances of ever being able to collect her? Are
stores in your area still using this Beanie for auctions and charities?
It's rumored that Ty HAS changed the Princess tag. If this rumor
is true, what are your feelings on this?
2. Ty just released Erin the emerald Bear. Retailers have been
informed that they will only receive 12 in their next shipment.
What are your views on this? Do you think that Erin will become
another Princess example.
3. Many collectors are disturbed with the early retirement of
Snowball and The 1997 Holiday Teddy. Many retailers claim they
never received them in their shipments. Now, collectors are just
as concerned about Princess and Erin. What are your views on a
possible early retirement for Princess and Erin?
4. Many e-mail messages which I obtain express bewilderment as
to why Ty would manufacture Beanies which represent anything other
than Ty's normal line. Example - Princess was made to represent
Princess Diana. Erin has a shamrock on her chest and is not a
Beanie animal. I realize that Ty has done something similar in
the past with Valentino, Spooky and Snowball. I just wonder if
this will be a continuing saga? If Ty decides to manufacture different
lines of Beanies, what other types would you recommend?
