Ms. Janie
Talks To Beanie Website Owners.

Beanie websites are becoming increasingly popular. The information is enormous and the rumors are rampant. Thousands of collectors depend on these sites to keep them informed and enjoy them daily as a form of entertainment.

The Internet has become a mouthpiece for Beanie collectors. Personally, I do not recommend the power of the Internet for selling, yet it has generated an enormous amount of information for Beanie Babies. Beanie collectors around the world trade information, swap stories, buy, sell and surf the Internet for their next Beanie treasure.

I view many sites daily, and appreciate the time and effort dedicated by individuals to keep the Beanie fest alive!

Last year I interviewed The Most Popular Beanie websites. This article was enjoyed by so many collectors, that I decided to do it again. This year, I’m using a new approach. I will revisit a couple of sites from last year and add a few new sites as well.

The first site which will be interviewed, will be The BBBC,
short for "The Beanie Babies Buddies Club".

The owners of this site are Randy and Sandy Jones. I have had the pleasure of working with this site for almost two years. The BBBC is my home base and is credited for posting my articles. I find this site to be highly Beanie oriented, with many extra special touches. Make sure to check out Mrs. Jones Library! Mrs. Jones is a teacher and has added many educational features to help students with homework. Mr. Jones is a very modest individual, and has a great sense of humor. Together they make a wonderful team. I highly recommend bookmarking this site for future reference.

Mr. Randy Jones http://www.bbbclub.com/index.html

How has your website changed from a year ago?

Growth, growth, growth! We’ve tried to get things a little more organized and easier to navigate. There’s no end to the new items offered in the world of Beanies, and it gets harder to keep up with it all! Our monthly contest has gone from a few dozen entries to well over Several Thousand per month.

Has the traffic increased or decreased?

It’s increased by a factor of TEN! At the moment, we’re in the middle of the summer doldrums, when ALL traffic on the net drops considerably, but as soon as we get into late September/October, I’m sure things will get as red hot as ever!

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

"How much is my Beanie worth?" That outshines any other question that comes in at least 3 to 1. Usually it has to do with tag variations.....and the Iggy/Rainbow tag fiasco really had us going nuts for a while. Other than that, it’s usually folks looking for Erin/Princess/HTF/etc at a standard price.

Approx. how many e-mails do you receive in one day?

Heh. Thanks to a lot of the "re-organization" of the site, I get VERY little Club mail at all!<Grin> The days of getting excited over 300-400 messages a day have LONG since passed........most of the mail goes to different mailboxes we have set up for specific club activities, many of which are handled by Mrs. Jones, Heather (Prez), or several of our younger members that have proven to be both responsible and courteous!

How has your site and Beanies changed your life?

Changed???? That "change" happened a few years ago, and has become more a way of life than anything else. Although I try to keep the actual coding of the site as simple and browser compatible as possible, there’s always a ton of new info to keep abreast of as the net continues to grow. Instead of a change, it’s more of an on-going challenge!

Do you find more kids or more adults accessing your site for information?

We still have plenty of adult traffic, but the site is and always has been a non-profit, Free site oriented towards kids. The contests remain kid oriented, the Forum is still basically a great place for the younger crowd (instead of another adult trading board), and we try to keep the "Cool Beanie Stuff" and "Mrs. Jones’ Library" page updated with fun things to do - ESPECIALLY for those interested in learning how to make their own web pages. We have one entire section devoted entirely to HTML help, graphics and tutorials......and from what we’ve heard, it’s going over Great!

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?

Difficult - no. Time consuming - yes. Anytime you look at the source code of someone else’s page, it’s always a case of "Arrrrgghhhh....just LOOK at all this code"......but we kind of know these pages now like the backs of our hands. It’s mostly a case of minor "tweaking" or updating that takes up our time, and we can usually accomplish this in under 1 hour a day. There are certain times when we really have to pour the coal to it, tho. The first of the month is ALWAYS busy, as there are half a dozen pages that ALL need to be updated on the First. Once that is take care of, we all are able to settle into our daily "groove" of maintenance, unless something HOT breaks on the net.

Is Beanie information easier or more difficult to obtain?

It’s easier by default, especially since there are now thousands of Beanie sites on the net, and MANY of them are high caliber. The trouble is, as usual, sifting thru all the available information to find pertinent info for posting.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor for posting purposes?

Tough, as usual. One thing for sure, we SELDOM try to be the first ones to post anything in the way of breaking rumors. Nine out of 10 times the information turns out to be in error or completely false! Nothing gets posted until it’s been verified by two or more unassociated sources......our main source being Ms Janie Daniels!<Grin>

If you had a crystal ball, and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

Heheheheh. If I had that crystal ball, I’d be a rich man today! :) Personally, I never thought Beanies would have enjoyed the success they’ve maintained to date, so you can see how much MY word is worth! :) Still, I honestly believe there will still be an active Beanie market that far down the road, especially since TY is just beginning to make in-roads in the foreign market.

On top of that, I’m amazed at the increased popularity of the other TY product lines, such as the Plush series. In many instances, Plush toys are even harder to find than Beanies! Time will tell, but I think TY is doing their best to insure they’ll be around for a long, long time.

If you had the opportunity to change one thing about Beanie collecting, what would it be?

Although this won’t make me very popular with a large contingent of the commercial Beanie world.....I would have, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, found a way to prevent the bulk "Back-Dooring" of Beanies into the hands of secondary market Dealers. I have no objection to the secondary market.....in fact, it’s one of the reasons for the continued success of the line; but when New Releases show up for sale on the secondary market en masse long before they hit the retail stores, there’s a problem. With out a doubt, that has been the one complaint voiced by every down home collector we’ve heard from over the past 18 months. The average kid deserves an honest shot at a $5-6 Beanie, but that simply is NOT the case these days, and shows no signs of letting up. Other than that, I can’t think of any other collectible that has been as much fun as Beanies, that has brought this many people together, and allowed so many to make friends in so many places!

CTOYS is one of my favorite sites to visit daily. I always enjoy working with Joe AKA Beanie Dad. I find Joe to be a very reliable individual and trust his views on the current market. Joe's site offers many pages of Beanies news, rumors, store directory, pricing guide, links, pictures and lots more! I have had the pleasure of working with Joe for well over a year and look forward to working with him in the future. He's one of the good guys! Joe has dedicated a special section on his page for my articles, which I appreciate very much. This man has a heart of gold!

Bookmark this site for all of your Beanie needs! It's one in a million!

Joe AKA Beanie Dad - www.ctoys.com

How has your website changed from a year ago?

Significant changes including our move from GeoCities/Angelfire to a unique domain name of (www.ctoys.com). We probably have added hundreds of web pages to the web site over the past year. My daughter (Meghan) is not involved in the web site now, as she is busy with summer activities and school activities the rest of the year. She is still the avid collector of beanies and nearly all that I buy goes into her collection.

Has the traffic increased or decreased?

The traffic has increased every month in leaps and bounds. Would say we picked up a significant following when we switched to our own domain name and several other beanie news web sites were out of commission. Where we used to measure in thousands of hits, we now measure in millions.

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

Many want to know the value of mistakes in beanies or hard to find beanies.

Approx. how many e-mails do you receive in one day?

I quit counting after I hit the hundreds. Due to the limited amount of time for web site activities, I find I no longer can respond to each note individually. Most receive an auto-response from the web site. I probably spend most of my time on sorting out the e-mail. Requesting URGENT or NEWS in the subject has helped. While I try to answer all the e-mail, some of it is lost in the shuffle.

How has your site and Beanies, changed your life?

While beanies have not changed my life much, the web site has a significant impact. I have gained many friends on the Internet and had great fun helping others with beanie information or news. I do have to be careful to limit my time working on the web site each day, as it can consume your life.

Do you find more kids or more adults accessing your site for information?

I would say mostly adults, however most don’t give their age so it is hard to tell.

Sometimes I’m surprised by the excellent postings to our news site that comes from kids.

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?

Updating is easy; it is finding valuable content that is the hard part. I do have help from many visitors who contribute news items to the news and rumors page. Sometimes the secondary pages fade away as I lose volunteers to maintain the web site. Some portions of the web site are very dependent of the volunteer efforts of others.

Is Beanie information easier of more difficult to obtain?

It is easy to obtain some of the information, however difficult to keep track of all the sources of information. There are thousands of web sites on beanies and it would be near impossible to keep track on each one.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor for posting purposes?

Articles in the media are usually reliable and factual, while notes on changes in beanies or related products are considered rumors until proven otherwise. There are exceptions to this, such as information from trusted sources that have some type of proof.

If you had a crystal ball, and could see the future. What do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

I believe the market will continue to see many ups and downs, scaring off many investors. In the long run, the true collectors will still be in the market keeping values on the rare beanies up through the next five years. Anyone, who would suggest you would find Peanuts the dark blue elephant at bargain basement prices in the future, really does not understand the market. Ty and Cryk will continue to test out new areas of the market providing some interesting new products for the future. And Teenie Beanies at McDonald’s will remain an annual tradition through the next five years.

If you had the opportunity to change one thing about Beanie collecting, what would it be?

I would like to see this hobby become more kid-friendly. It is terrible to read about adults who push aside kids to grab beanies, or retailers who only sell to adults, or those who believe beanies should be kept out of the hands of children.

I would compliment Ty on their efforts to place beanies into the hands of children at Sports events. Baseball especially needs an infusion of younger fans and this is an excellent way to encourage parents to take their children to a ball game.

In conclusion, I would have to say my work with Janie Daniels has been the most refreshing part of working on our web site. Janie is an invaluable source of information and many visitors to the web site look forward to each of her new articles.

What made you decide to design a Beanie website?

We didn’t we added beanies to the soft toy section we already had. We had no idea beanies were so big.

How many hours a day do you dedicate to your site?

7 or 8 a week

What type of information does your site contain?

Just a sales site, we tried info but so many people already do that we took it off.

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

Do you have Britannia and how much.

Do you find more kids or more adults assessing your site for information?

Adults no question, we are overseas so kids tend to shy away from International sites.

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?

I do not do It myself. I have a design department that does the site, ads and catalogues

If you had a crystal ball and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

I think they will be cheaper and much easier to find, I don’t think people will always pay $300 for a Maple or a Britannia.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor?

Until I see it, I don’t believe it. I have seen to many fakes and hear to many rumors to listen.

If you have the opportunity to talk with Ty Warner for 5 minutes, what would you say?

Why do you forget us in the UK? Why do we have to wait for the new ones and sometimes not get things at all? Why do shoe stores, garden centers {Home Depot type place}, discount stores and Art gallerys all sell beanies here?? Why did I see a Big Toy store {Toy Master} selling Beanies in uniform at a beanie show? Why were their Britannias £250.00?? Why, if he really cares about kids and not just money, does he force UK retailers to buy loads of attics, plush, and pillow pals in order to get beanies? By doing this he forces retailers to raise their prices to cover the cost of the other products that don’t sell. But most of all why did Blizzard only come out in Britannia after he was retired? Why do the retireds still ship to stores for months after the retirement? Sorry I’m ranting.

http://members.aol.com/SmartyKid This site is a great site which can be viewed in English and in Spanish. A tremendous amount of effort has been provided for your viewing pleasure. The site offers news, contest, member's list and more.

Please provide a short Bio on yourself.

Beanie4Ever is an Online Beanie Baby Club, with contests, news, rumors and more! It’s run by 12 year old Melissa Marchionna. Beanie4Ever has over 1200 members, and that number is climbing EVERY DAY!

What made you decide to design a Beanie website?

Basically, I started my web page to compliment my club. Now, I’m so involved with it, I don’t think I’ll ever lose interest…even if my club members do (which will NEVER happen…I hope…)

How many hours a day do you dedicate to your site?

I actually spend about 3 hours a day…while it’s not always visible on the site…I spend tons of times adding links and finding the latest important news. I can search the web for hours for news I can use on Beanie4Ever. Occasionally I read AOL Message Boards (surprisingly, when they do have news it’s the best) which contain 1000’s of messages…most which just say "yes, I agree" or "no, that’s only a rumor." It takes a long time to keep the site as successful as it is, and I think my club members appreciate that.

What type of information does your site contain?

Obviously, my site is about Beanie Babies. Right now, we have a News Section, Links section, and a FAQ section, which are basically the only informative things available to the general public. There is also a private, password protected Members Only Section, which contains a message board (and a chat room which is currently NOT working) for beanie chat, free4all links page, trading post, and access to past newsletters. Membership is free…so to get the most out of my site, I suggest to people become members. In the future, all people will have access to an article the changes monthly (or maybe weekly) about Beanie Events or Beanie Facts. Some will include "How to Spot a Counterfeit" and "Beanies for Babies (a charitable drive)"

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

I get them ALL!!! Most people ask me when Peace will retire (or Maple or Erin…) But I would say the SECOND most commonly asked question is for the Members Only password on my site :-)

Do you find more kids or more adults assessing your site for information?

To tell you the truth I really don’t know. It never occurred to me to chart this information, and it really doesn’t make a difference to me. I try and treat all my members the same, whether they're adult, kid, or teen.

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?

It’s quite hard. I love to web design, and am CONSTANTLY designing a new site for myself or updating another. I would like to update it every day…but only find myself doing it about once a week. Also, when there are droughts in Beanie news, I find it hard to keep the visitors satisfied, and usually end up updating less, and getting into a BAD habit :-(

If you had a crystal ball and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

Sadly…I think the Beanie Market will :S:L:O:W:L:Y: fall…and in about ten years, someone will "rediscover" the craze, and it will go right up again.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor?

I look for verification. I’ll trace a rumor as far back to a source as I can. I’ll ask who told someone the rumor, and then ask them…etc. I sort out the facts and the lies that are in the rumor (like "Yes, it’s true Peace is tie- dyed, no Peace doesn’t have the word ‘peace’ written on his chest") After all that I can determine whether something is true…or whether it’s a bundle of lies. (Also, there is a little thing called common sense.)

If you have the opportunity to talk with Ty Warner for 5 minutes, what would you say?

Wow…I would tell him I’m thrilled he finally made a beanie with my b-day (Fortune) and that I REALLY wanted one but all the greedy store dealers sell for $$$! Seriously, I would ask about his plans for Ty in the future, how he became so successful, and his opinion about the secondary market.

http://www.beaniebits.com Mary Beth has been a great on-line friend. I have sponsored a contest on her site and enjoy viewing her page. This site offers a newsletter, monthly contest, chat, links, Beanies and accessories and lots more! I'm sure you will find yourself returning many times to this wonderful site.

What made you decide to design a Beanie website?

Well, I started my web site back in Sept 1997. I was just getting into beanies and took classes on web design and wanted more practice, and since I loved beanies so much I decided to do one on the site. I never imagined having my site on beanies as long as I have and getting as large too. This was not at all planned. Yet, I am having such a good time I wouldn’t give it up either!

How many hours a day do you dedicate to your site?-

TOO MANY! :0) Really, I spend easily 12 hrs if not more. Thinking of new ideas, updating, looking at other sites that viewers have sent me. I am on it TOO MUCH. I LOVE BEANIES I AM HOOKED!

What type of information does your site contain?-

My site contains everything almost. I have a club, banner exchange, site fights, fun and games, newsletter, mailing list, web help for other web masters, link exchange, 2 or more contests a month, graphic library, beanie sales, and beanie accessories. I could keep on going but I will spare you with the other details. I have gotten MANY comments that people have been on my web site for hours and still have not seen it all :0)

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?-

If I know when the next retirement will be and who will retire, or whom will they introduce. I get asked this question the most!

Do you find more kids or more adults assessing your site for information?-

I find more adults are on my site than kids. I do have lots of stuff for kids to do but most of my questions and comment some from adults on my site.

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?-

It is pretty time consuming. I have too much on my site to keep up by myself, and I often find pages slip behind and need to be updated. I also get help from other beanie friends to help me catch up. Especially my web ring, and my club pages. Also it is difficult to make everyone happy. There are a ton of collectors out there and to get 100% positive responses are hard since there are many needs for beanie customers out there. :0)

If you had a crystal ball and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?-

In the future I see beanies still around 5 years from now and the prices will still be strong. There will be new collectors and new promotions TY comes out to keep the interest of the customers.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor?-

Well, that one is a hard one since you should not believe everything you hear. So my motto is if it isn't on TY’S site it is a fake rumor. Also, when I see oddities show up online about something being different, I just assume it is a rumor until I have seen it and someone has verified it as a TY beanie baby. I try not to say everything is factual because I can also be wrong. With my rumors page it is usually filled with info and picture other viewers have sent me.

If you have the opportunity to talk with Ty Warner for 5 minutes, what would you say?

I would ask him what he had planned in the future for TY. Also ask about retirements and how he determines when to retire and who to retire.

(THERE HAS TO BE SOME SECRET CODE TO ALL THIS SMILE)

www.beaniephiles.com Suzy is the webmaster for beaniephiles. Suzy's site is speculator. This site has it all! It offers chat, Beanie news, trading post, instant Beanie alerts, contest, store directory, Janie Files and more. I have had the pleasure of working with Suzy for almost a year. She contacted me last Winter and informed me I had won the Golden Beanie Award, she then started a section on her page entitled "The Janie Files" Suzy has a mailing list which has become increasingly popular. This list allows collectors to share information, tips and become on-line friends. I highly recommend bookmarking this site for your future Beanie needs!

Please provide a short Bio on yourself.

My name is Suzy Haghighi and I am the creator and webmaster for The Beanie Philes. I currently reside in northeastern OR, although I have spent most of my life in Los Angeles, CA.

What made you decide to design a Beanie website?

The Beanie bug bit me after I saw the Teenies offered at McDonald’s (McD day I call it!) in April of 1997. Intrigued, I checked out the Ty site and was hooked. I met some great friends through the site and became part of a great Beanie network. We would have great fun on the guestbook. Sick of all the "for sale" ads; I began to hold contests on the Ty guestbook to win Beanies and Teenies. The contestants would have to post their entries on the Ty guestbook. Needless to say it made things very hard, but many people enjoyed the fun and wacky entries. After Ty limited posts to one per hour this was no longer feasible, and I dove in and made a website to hold my contests on, and things just snowballed from there!

How many hours a day do you dedicate to your site?

About 8-10 right now! Sometimes more!

What type of information does your site contain?

Anything and everything to do with Ty products, including Beanies, Pillow Pals, and Attics. Our section on plush will be opening in a few weeks hopefully. We have contests and fun for kids; news and information for collectors; a very popular Trading Post for trading, buying and selling; and something unique that we started: Instant Beanie Alerts, where people from around the country can post the latest information on retail Beanie shipments.

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

Unfortunately lately it has been "can retailers do that??", meaning can they sell certain Beanies at very high prices, or make people purchase something else to be able to purchase a certain Beanie. Unfortunately the retailers can, and Ty is pretty powerless to stop them.

Do you find more kids or more adults assessing your site for information?

I find that both groups enjoy my site...I really try to have a balance of fun and information. After all, it was the sheer joy of Beanies that got me started.

How difficult is it to continually update your web pages?

Because the site is so large it is very hard. But the news is the most difficult: it is even harder to separate fact from fiction.

If you had a crystal ball and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

As far as value, a big concern for many, I believe that the older Beanies from 1994 through 1996 will always be the most valuable. Newer Beanies will never attain the high prices commanded by the ‘94-‘96 Beanies because of production numbers and the fact that we now have a larger base of collectors taking extraordinary care of the Beanies and their tags. This means that there will be a greater number of "mint" Beanies. Don’t we all wish we knew THEN what we know NOW?

As far as being fun and entertaining toys for children, Beanies will never cease to be so as long as children have imagination, and Ty remains imaginative in the creation of Beanie characters.

How do you determine what is fact and what is rumor?

It is very difficult. Most often, I consider the source. Why, once a Ty representative contacted me with some important information. My reply? I did not believe it was a Ty representative, so I told her "I smell smoke...is it your pants on fire???" Needless to say, this was one of my more embarrassing moments in determining fact from fiction!

If you have the opportunity to talk with Ty Warner for 5 minutes, what would you say?

I would ask him where HE sees Beanies in 5 years. I would also ask him about the design process, and how the poems are written, and by whom.

http://www.geocities.com/~beaniemonium/index.html This is a wonderful site! I enjoy the entire site and especially like the graphics and news. Renee has graciously offered FREE graphics, clipart and screen savers for everyone to enjoy. This site is guaranteed to be one of your favorites!

Please provide a short BIO on yourself.

I am a 36 year old mother of 2 children, who started collecting Beanies with TBB1 - a time when many new collector's joined the madness.

What made you decide to design a Beanie website?

At first I did it because I had spent way too much money on Beanies and needed to sell some of them off. After I accomplished that I hated to let the website just sit there so I got busy and it evolved from there. I started off as a one page secondary market site if you're honest about it.

What type of Information does your site contain?

We have the typical news, rumors, links, etc. What I feel makes us unique is our graphics, our Forum section which asks a weekly question and we post responses from readers. We also have a section called "Beijing Beanies." Much has been said about these Beanies and very few people have had the chance to actually see them and compare them to the "real" things. We also like to bring people together in a family friendly format. We have a section called Granniacs which to date we have about 60 people signed up who have made lots of on-line friendships. We have a huge section devoted to children's penpals and feature our own "Name that Tune" contest about every 6 weeks. We have a Kids' Only contest about every 6 weeks as well where we give away Beanie prizes. We have a private club (Beanie Baby Trader's Club) for trading that features a discussion list full of wonderful people who e-mail and discuss their finds, families and life! It's open to new members about 3 times a year. We have a chat in the club also and we have weekly PJ parties on Friday nights.

What is the most popular question asked by collectors?

What do you think will retire next!

Do you find more kids or more adults visiting your site?

It's hard to say, but I do feel I have a kid friendly site, but I also focus on adults too. We try to be very interactive in a number of ways with all ages.

How difficult is it to continually update your web site?

Well, it's become an obsession for me. I have 2 small children, ages 3 and 6, who require a lot of attention. They are usually in bed at 8:30 and I am on the computer from then until my eyes burn! It could be a full time job. Recently I have obtained the assistance of two major contributors who do html. One (Sandy C.) handles a lot of the behind the scenes programming and the other (Jason J.) handles the Forum and also Beijing Beanies. Both have helped me in ways I can't begin to describe! It's hard to do it alone, but they have come in and just made them at home and I am thankful to have them assist with the site.

If you has a crystal ball and could see the future, what do you predict for Beanies in the next five years?

Wow. Good question. I personally (don't hate me) feel that by then, Beanies may have run their course. It's a great hobby and it's brought a lot of people together but that will make the entire thing about 9-10 years old. I can't see that being the case. How many more animals can Ty come up with and new collector's will never be able to obtain the rare retireds by that time! I hope my prediction is wrong.

How do you determine what is fact from rumor?

Well there are some things that are obviously rumors. The Mel, Blizzard and now the Wise rumors are hard to take. It's a little intuition, a little speculation and a little common sense. A lot of our news comes from the AP news feeds so I don't have to worry about having that checked out. It's their fault if it's rumor! LOL! Actually I even put a little disclaimer on something I personally am skeptical of. If you keep in mind that Ty is out to make a living and business is business, some of the rumors then seem a little silly. If someone has a variation of a Beanie, I ask for scans, etc. I use many methods.

If you had the opportunity to talk with Ty Warner for 5 minutes, what would you say?

I wouldn't discuss Beanies with him at all. In that 5 minutes I would try to discover what it was inside him that made him the wealthy man he is now. Just what is in his mind that made the man the "mystique" he is now. Last of all I would probably try to get him to meet my sister (who is single and gorgeous)!

_______________________________________________________________________

Many people have often asked why I do not operate my own website? It's really quite simple. I do not have the time or energy to operate my own site. I'd prefer to continue writing and allowing these sites to post my material.

It's very easy to spread yourself too thin. I will leave the Internet up to the webmasters and I'll continue to enjoy writing for them. Their job is a lot more difficult than anyone gives them credit for!

The Internet is a GREAT resource tool for most subjects, but when it comes to Beanies, they have it all!

Don't forget to visit Ty's site www.ty.com it's posted on every Beanie page. While you are there, don't forget to check out The Official Beanie Babies Club. http://www.ty.com/bboc.html
