A collector in Arkansas shares the following

Two new numbers have been discovered for fake Buckingham beanies. I purchased 2 Buckinghams from an ebay seller in December and when they arrived a couple of things were suspicious looking...hologram, font of the word Buckingham on the tush, and the embroidered emblem didn't look right. I sent them to Becky's True Blue Beans and they arrived back yesterday...both counterfeits.

This same seller has multiples of Buckingham on ebay auction right now (says he is checking the other tush numbers, but has sold over 100 in the last couple of months with no negatives about anyone else finding fake ones), so buyers should always carefully check the list of tush numbers against the Buckinghams they purchase or trade for. If you hadn't seen many Buckinghams, these are "good" counterfeits and would be hard for a novice to spot.

I have attached a digital image I made of the certificate Becky sent along with the returned beans.
Those two numbers are: 47UB339J and 4DDBGDX3
Another thing that led me to believe they were counterfeit was that each of those tush numbers has four digits in sequence from other counterfeit Buckinghams already on the list.

Take care and thanks for sharing this with other collectors and adding the two new numbers to the increasing list.
