ORANGE DIGGER

A very special thanks to Donna for sharing her photos.

Style # 4027
Date issued 1994
Retired 1995

Digger the Orange Crab was released with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation hangtag
It was released with a 1st generation tush tag

On the tag that say Handmade in China there is suppose to be a copyright symbol next to each of the addresses. (c)
This tag is more characteristic to tags from products made in Korea, which did not have the (c) copyright symbol next to the addresses.
There is no space between the (TM) TMStyle 4076 it should be TM just slightly above the word style but with a space between it.

The back of this hangtag is typical of the hangtag found on products made in Korea. What is interesting is the inside of the tag is typical of a tag made in China. In order for the tag to match the ones from products made in China it should say the following.
Please remove all swing tags
before giving this item to a child

There is no (period) after the P and V in P.V.C. pellets
There is NO space between (PA.REG#) it should be PA. REG # 1965

There is NO space between (FOR AGES 3AND UP) this is typical for this style. Normally this error would be an indication of a fake but not in the case. There have been many reports of this error.

The (C) for copyright is too dark and not the typical font used by Ty
The comma is not typical of the comma used in Ty's tush tags

Beaniemon also has a photo of the first generation tush tag if you are interested in viewing it please click here
