Notable differences are as follows:
1. Bear size; It is measuring approx. 9" long and 3 10/16"
wide.
Authentic bears are approx. 8 1/2" long and 3 4/16"
wide.
When you hold one in each hand the counterfeit one feels fuller
and heavier. I cannot feel or see a difference in the fabric.
The feet of the fake are pointed instead of rounded.
2. The Tush tag counterfeit measures 13/16" wide and 15/15"
long.
Authentic bears measure 11/16" wide and 1" long. Also,
the authentic tush tags have a little sheen to them, while the
fake one does not.
The letters on the tush tag are more of a block style and more
bold.
There is a noticeable difference on the B
verses B for Beanie Babies & P
verses the P on Peace. The other difference is the 1996 TY INC.
The counterfeit does not have a space between the 6 & T looking
like: 1996TY INC.
3. The Hang tag looks good except that the points of the star are pointed and the authentic ones have a slight roundness to them.
