There definitely seems to be a lot of selling and trading going on these days. Ty's latest announcement has collectors realizing that after December 31, 1999 Beanies, as we now know them, will no longer exist. Everyone seems to be scrambling for their favorite styles before the deadline.

There has been an enormous amount of speculation and rumors floating around about what year 2000 will bring, only Ty knows for sure!

Spooky was originally introduced as Spook. Ty quickly made a name change to Spooky.

Spooky's mouth can be found with two different styles.
This Beanie can be found with a (U) shape or a (V) shape mouth with red felt glued on.

The first Spooky is an authentic Ty Spooky. The second Spooky is a fake. The ribbon used on the fake Spooky is not typical of the type of ribbon Ty uses on their products. The ribbon is also not tied the typical Ty way. Both Spooky's were made in China.

The gold foil on this fake tag is too wide. The star is a obvious sign of a fake product, it does not even match up.
