Slight CHANGE In Beanie Kid Tag
Sonya Diggs sent me an e-mail informing me of a change to the Beanie Kid line. She did not have a scanner so I scanned my tags for you to view. Thanks Sonya!

 


FIRST TAG ************** SECOND TAG

The first tag came off of my Curly, which was received shortly after the initial release of the Kids.

The second tag came off of Chipper, which was received last week.

Notice the font size on the two tags. The second tag is chunkier, especially in the (K) , (E), (D) and (S). Will Ty continue to make changes in order to keep to his new motto, "Expect the Unexpected? Who knows, only time will tell?
I also noticed that the colors are a softer pastel color.

Hi, my name is Beate D'Amato and I live in Garmisch, Germany.
First of all I'd like to send the warmest greating from Germany and wish that you get well real quick again!!! :-))
Here a news tidbit to chear you up!
Since, to this date these beautiful Ty Beanie Kids were not available in Germany and I had to have them, and decided to purchase them from different people in the U.S.
So, these 3 Beanie Kids I am showing you a scan off are from 3 different "homes":-))

Today, I had noticed 3 new distinguishing marks on them that I have not read or heard of yet.
It's time to ask "Beaniemom" for me! :-))
The 3 factors, I'd like to point out are:

I have 2 Angel Kids, one with velcro and one with the elastic undies. The difference in them is not only the underwear but also their HAIRCOLOR! As you can hopefully see in the scan Angel with velcro has a whitish-blond hair color as to Angel with elastic. Her hair is more of a blond color.
Compare the material that their dresses are made off carefully. The dress fabric for Velcro-Angel is a darker shade of blue than the one on Elastic-Angel. In addition, the flower print is different. On the Elastic-Angel the print of the flower is a lighter green and the stem is a lot thinner. Also the leave itself is smaller and a darker shade of green than the one on the Velcro-Angel.

I added a scan of the hang-tags. I knew, that you had already posted a pic of the first 2 versions, where you showed the difference in color most recognizable in the E of BEANIE KIDS, and also the pink in the A and the K. Well, on this new Elastic-Angel I have received the hang-tag is different again. The 1st E in BEANIE and the S in KIDS is a noticably lighter shade of green! Also the I in BEANIE is more orangy in color.
