One was Pumkin beanie,
the other was named Zach.

If I chose just one
the other would be left alone.
They both were so cute
and so cuddly.
And they were so special
so I brought them both with me.

I love my Mom with all
my heart
But you must know right from the start
Her taste in food is very strange
And that is something I wish she’d change
She’s been
known to taste and nibble
And this is not with what I quibble
Her choice of foods is what I find gross
And I think it would do the same to most
She’s been
known to eat left-overs weeks too late
When they’re so old they are stuck to the plate
Take last night’s dinner, mix it, mash it, smoosh it up
Then drink day old coffee in a cup
She will put anything
on a piece of bread
Chip dip, cereal, moldy cheese she will spread
It seems that nothing can make her wince
And I’ve never been the same ever since
But I love my Mom
so I watch her eat
Even though it is not an easy feat
If eating like this is her aim
Then I will love her just the same
Now if you are a
friend of Goatee the goat
Then you and I are in the same boat
My Mom and Goatee share a taste
For foods that we think of as total waste
Wouldn’t it
be interesting for them to meet
And then together they could eat
That would certainly be a sight
To watch my Mom and Goatee sit down for a bite
I chose to write
about my Mom and Goatee because when I read Goatee's poem I immediately
thought of my Mom! We are always teasing her about the things
she eats but she thinks we are all just too picky! LOL I love
my Mom and I don't mind that her tastes are a bit ...strange...!

I travel on the Internet,
In search of beanies you can bet!
When I can't log on, I get in a fret,
but when I can then I am set.
Have you folks seen Ms Janie's page?
It is good for folks of any age.
For buying beanies she's my gage.
Her advice is oh so sage.
She gives the traders a place to meet.
Pull up a chair, take a seat.
The beanies here just can't be beat.
And the people there are a real treat.
It is through her site I have travelled far.
There was never a need for my car.
It really is just so bizarre,
How this beanie has become a star.

The internet is our claim to fame.
My Owner and Ms Janie seem,
to think we three make quite a team.
None of us are a shade of green,
but each of us is stuffed with beans.
The sight of me melts hearts like honey.
And I did not cost a pile of money.

like Kooky
I get so addled, I sound kinda goofy
My limbs hang loose, my hips stick out
My tummy droops in a nice round pout.
I cannot decide
on the color for my hair.
So like Kooky's whiskers
It's a multi-colored affair!

Matches my skin when I get cold then hot
(Hot flashes can be so much fun
most women my age have experienced one)

We wrote the above poem with some help from Ty :o) because we
feel that the beanie baby Rufus reminds us most of Robert. As
the above poem illustrates, Robert and Rufus are very much alike.
They both are very friendly and like people. They are helpful
and you can count on them to be a loyal and trustworthy friend.
But most of all they love to play and have lots of fun.
