This is a grouping of teasets that I believe to be old or "older".
The mint green colored one is from Czechoslovakia and is supposed to be very old. Much of the green luster finish has worn off the cups. The small one in the front with orange/red flowers is a set that was made in Occupied Japan, so the date on that is from a known period in history. The others are very pretty older sets that I liked because of the way they looked - not necessarily because of their age.


This is a picture of the tall curio cabinet that Ken gave me as a wedding present. It is home for some of my favored sets - shining examples of almost every category of sets.


This is a picture of the curio cabinet that my mom bought for me at an antique auction. It was my first curio cabinet and a welcome addition.
Right now, it contains most of the modern porcelain sets that have decal decoration instead of hand painting. These are very varied in design - from St. Patrick's days to Tropical Fish.
