Hi Carol,
I have viewed all of your pictures and will discuss my concerns
regarding your
Digger.
On your tag it says &P. V.C. - My tag says & P.V.C.
There is an extra space
in between your P and (.)
The year on your tush tag says 95 and it should say 1993
I am also concerned about the red which appears to be flaking
off or rubbing off the tush tag.
There is also to much space between the copyright symbol and the
date.
The Digger appears to be too red.
I am also a little concerned about the look of the material. It
does not
appear to be Ty's material. It kind of looks a little like flannel
which has
been used on many fakes.
I can not be 100% certain without viewing and feeling it, but
I am assuming that this is a fake.

Ms. Janie, I have a feeling you are right about Digger -
the date on tush tag
is what I thought was the biggest tip-off. But you do have to
admit for a
fake he's a darn good one. Somebody went through alot of trouble
to make sure
he was as close as possible to a real Ty product - the tag was
almost perfect
except for print being a little darker than normal- and please
use the pics
if you want to - might as well use him for some good - maybe it'll
save
someone else from being ripped off ( not to bad on this end -
he was part of
a lot I got at an auction and the only 1 that was fake - checked
everything
else very closely w/ my own - unfortunely Digger was 1 I did't
have a
duplicate in coll. to check against). Thank you very much for
your time &
trouble & will reccommend your site to my trading buddies
online & will visit
your site & sign guestbook. Carol

For a brief period during the summer, when
the first set of tags had been used up but the case was still
unresolved, newly printed tags
either said "visit our web page!!!" with no address
given, or there is no mention of a web page whatsoever.
