A viewer (Linda) shared a scan of a Lefty tag to help educate collectors.

This tag clearly depicts two registered trademark symbols. (®®)
After viewing an authentic Lefty I had to inform Linda that her Lefty was a fake.
The real Lefty only has one (1) registered trademark symbol on the tush tag.

A Note from Linda:

Ms. Janie, I want to thank you for your help with Lefty. Hopefully I
will get my money back tomorrow. We compared him with a friend's real
true Lefty and his head was somewhat larger. The swing tag varied a
little in color also. I'm just glad we caught it in time and could do
something about it. You better believe I'll be extra cautious from now
