Another point - on Runner:

He had previously been described as a ferret. Now with the auction
picture saying he's a mongoose, I had to go look up mustelidae. I can't
find that word in any dictionary (even the giant unabridged one that
usually has everything in it!). But there are variations of the word,
like musteline, mustela, musteloid. They refer to a genus consisting of
weasels, polecats, minks, wolverines, etc. - all fur-bearing mammals.

There! Aren't you glad I cleared that up? :-) So Runner's not a ferret,
but more of a weasel.
