This rumor has puzzled and frustrated many collectors.
I have spent much time trying to investigate this rumor and can now verify that it indeed is FALSE.
When the rumor was brought to my attention
I initially thought that this must be a mistake! Why would Ty
release a country exclusive after retiring it almost 9 months
ago, it just did not make any sense!
It appeared to me that the Ty Company had been concentrating on
getting this hobby back on track and that this rumor, if true
would be a definite setback.
After checking with many sources if has
come to my attention that some Ty retailers did receive an old
order form which made them think they were allowed to order Sakura,
which in fact was not true.
If you recall, this happened one other time with the Canadian
retailers.
This does not surprise me knowing that Ty has thousands of accounts
to deal with on a daily basis, they are bound to slip up occasionally.
After all they are human just like the rest of us.
Now this rumor can be put to bed and we can start fishing for the next rumor that may or may not pan out!
