I would be interested in hearing from other
Ty retailers who attended the show. I am not doubting this report
but since I was not in attendance I just need to make it clear
that I personally can not verify this information.

________

Hi, We had some free time
this weekend so we took a 3 hour drive to the Chicago show at
the Merchandise Mart, and of course the first stop was the Ty
Booth!!
And if you thought Easter introductions were over, THINK AGAIN!
First the NEW NEW stuff:
Instead of Jingle beanies for Christmas, We now have Basket Beanies
for Easter. They are the same as the Jingles, just with a hang
tag that has multicolor letters that say Basket Beanies. Those
ones are: Hope, Eggs, Ewey, Floppity and Hippity.
New beanies are a dog-named Frisbee: Grey fur with a black and
blue checkered ribbon (I think it was those colors) Also a Cat
named Tracks: Cream/white fur with light brown spots and furry/feather
ears. They also had 1 more new one, a bear: looked like the bear
form Nick Jr.s " Bear in the Big Blue House" but they
didn't have the actual beanie there...just a picture. Next for
buddies, they had new Eggs buddy and Cashew buddy.
I didn't have much time to check out other stuff but I noticed
a new Baby Ty: gogo and some new beanie kids cloths: ( I think
they are new: workout gear? sorry the info is so little but the
I don't think the Ty reps wanted me there...I was trying to write
down info and one of them just came up and handed me a Ty Order
form and said here just take this, but it didn't have any new
items on it so I don't know. But I did notice later on that they
were giving out free Ty Plastic bags but by the time I got back
there...she was handing the last one out. And of course the Ty
booth was the busiest out of all of them! Although I didn't see
Ty...one of the reps was acting weird...standing in the corner
talking really quiet to someone on her cell! lol and you never
know they might even introduce more at the show tomorrow. So I
hope this helped.
Thanks, Andrew
