Hi Ms. Janie,
Ty's done it again! I happened to stop yesterday at one of the
Ty accounts nearby. I check there almost daily, and they were
frustrated that they hadn't gotten their shipment yet. They ordered
right away on the first of the month as instructed, and here it
was 3 weeks later and they hadn't gotten their shipment yet. Most
everyone else in the area had already gotten theirs, so this Ty
account was disgruntled.
Well Friday afternoon, I stopped in as usual, and the owner said
'I got the new ones in but haven't put them out yet'...WOW! So
I patiently waited 15 minutes while she finished with another
client, and then went back to get her new Beanies out. I was expecting
the usual ones that have been ariving everywhere when I was shocked
to see Dizzy not only with colored spots as had been ariving everywhere
else near me, but also with **hot pink and blue ears**!!! I had
heard someone had gotten some with these features in Europe 2
weeks ago, but nothing since, so I wasn't expecting this at all.
When I pointed this out to the retailer, she didn't have any more
complaints about Ty :0)!
Anyways, I'm forwarding pictures for your website to share. I've
included 2 photos comparing the 2nd version with this 3rd version,
comparing the hang tags, and then showing the other ear of the
3rd version. 3 photos in all. Regarding the hang tags, its interesting
to notice that the hang tag is the earlier "Beanie Baby"
version, not the new "Beanie Babies" version. I wonder
if this will be a rarity combo in the long run, and any future
ones will have the "Beanie Babies" version
tags???
I'll be putting 1 Dizzy up for auction on eBay tonight, as my
Ty account friend let me have a couple extras. I will put the
other up for offers on the Beanie Board of Trade, and I'll take
offers through Saturday at 10pm CST.
